Pixie
SOLD - Pixie successfully delivered four babies during her first freshening and raised three of them. Even though she is young, she is turning into a fantastic doe and will be in the running for easiest milker on the farm. She was standoff-ish as a baby, but warmed up as she became a milker.
-
Kassie
Kassi is a carbon copy of her mother, Diamond Dust, with a roaned black and white buckskin and a white poll. She is our strongest milker, with good manners, large orifices and volume.
-
Callie
Our little hussy, Callie got herself a boyfriend her first year, but thankfully only had one baby. Oh, young love! She turned out to be a great mother and her little buck won cutest baby of the year. Since then, she has been a consistent milker and good mama.
-
Spring
SOLD - Spring is out of Delight and Iggy and is a strong, protective mother. She is a bit standoff-ish, but successfully mothered four babies to adulthood this year. Spring’s offspring tend to be extremely good milkers and strong mothers. Available in milk and bred for $350, with registered doeling at her side for $600.
-
Daisy (Greta)
Greta is registered as Daisy, but her strong personality and opinions called for a name change. She became our herd queen after Delight passed and grew into the role. She epitomizes the idea of “though she be but little she is fierce.” Greta and Jack’s daughter Dolly did very well at the Deschutes county fair this year.
-
Dee Dee
Deceased - As a first freshener, Dee Dee successfully raised four babies and even had enough milk to give us a little. She has extremely good stand manners and as a bottle baby, is friendly to the level of lap-goat.
-
Penny
Penny is new favorite of this year’s retained does. She is an incredible milker and strong mother. She is a bit stand-offish, but stands beautifully when milking and has the largest teats and orifices of all our milkers. To put the cherry on top, she is competing with Cassie for largest mil volume and it is only her first year milking. I’m looking forward to the future of this fabulous goat.
-
Petunia
Petunia is from the same strong lines as Fern and has been exposed to Iggy. She should be due in February and is available for $300.
-
Fern
Fern is Diamond’s true granddaughter, and we expect her to take over the Activities Director position when Diamond retires. As she is a first freshener, her teats and volume is lower, but as Cassie’s daughter, we expect it to increase in the next year or two. She has strong legs and feet and is a charmer.
